Staging a two day exhibition including careers and networking events requires a dedicated group with experience in event management.  Working with experienced suppliers and events staff, planning for North West Expo gets underway immediately following the last event.  Using feedback from our exhibitors and sponsors

North West Expo is a multi-faceted project that has become successful through its willingness to adapt and evolve to meet the diverse and ever-changing needs and demands of the North West whilst supporting our sponsors to meet their strategic outcomes. 

As a not for profit event North West Expo seeks funding from grant bodies, government and corporate sponsorships to help grow the event. 

The development of new and carefully designed concept areas that meet sponsor’s outcomes ensures time and focus is devoted to an event which reflects the diversity of people, community, business and industry in this region.

Given the broad nature of the event's delivery, and its potential in so many areas, North West Expo sees strategic planning as vital to forging a strong and focused way forward.

A Strategic Plan prepared in late 2010 for North West Expo 2011-2013 has developed the following Vision, Mission and Goals:

Vision

The North West Expo will become the pre-eminent showcase for Australia’s North West as a vibrant and beautiful area in which to live and invest.

Built on a foundation of powerful partnerships with industry, government and communities, the North West Expo will embody regional ownership and involvement. It will establish a permanent exhibition centre that acts as a focal point for regional, national and international events.

For residents and visitors, the North West Expo will continue to provide an experience that is diverse, entertaining, informative and affordable.

Mission

The North West Expo acts as a catalyst for innovation, growth and networking to create positive outcomes for the region.

It showcases opportunities for business, industry, employment, arts, tourism, recreation and culture in this vast, remote and growing region.

Goals

The North West Expo is committed to five goals:

  • Be recognised as the premier regional showcase event in the North West by 2013.
  • Establish long term financial security by 2012.
  • Increase attendance by 10% each year.
  • Have a dedicated venue by 2018.
  • Perpetuate the success of the organising entity.
