North West Expo BROOME BASKETBALL JUNIOR CARNIVAL
Teams from towns and communities around the Kimberley and Pilbara regions have been are participating in the 2010 North West Expo Broome Basketball Association Junior Carnival to be held at the NW Expo over both days of the Expo weekend.
WHO’S PLAYING:
The carnival involves separate male and female competitions in three age group categories: under 13 years, under 15 years and under 18 years.

Broome Recreation and Aquatic Centre, on the outdoor basketball courts. |

FISHING TIPS:
Catch the one that got away with the Broome Fishing club showing you tips and tricks. With net casting, lure selection and fish filleting demonstrations you’re sure to net the big one on your next fishing adventure. The Broome Fishing Club can be found at Site #58 in the Pool Area. On Sunday at 11am they will also be in THE SHED demonstrating how to dissect a fish, rig baits for sail fishing and show you how to throw a cast net and much more.

Either Leisure Pools or Pearl Coast Liner Pools can help you select a sparkling new pool for your back yard. Leisure Pools are located in the Pool Area – whereas Pearl Coast are at Site #4 as you enter the Expo.

BROOME CIRCLE |
Don't miss all that's on at Broome Circle this year at North West Expo, at Site #20. Saturday and Sunday morning there is face painting for the kids from 9am – 1pm and a colouring competition running across the weekend.
If you need a break, Circle is going to be the ultimate place to chill out with couches, pillows, books, toys and free cold water. There’ll be an area for nursing mums and families to rest. Child supervision will be the responsibility of parents. |
