“We value the opportunity that Expo presents us with each year. It allows us to get grassroots feedback on our activities, as well as building membership and attendance for our programs.
As an organisation, Expo provides us with unique opportunities…We fully support Expo’s growth and the addition of more facets to the event which will help to bring more activities and more people to gain information and benefit to more community groups like ourselves.” Leesa-Rae Harrison, Manager, Broome Circle |

“I believe that the annual North West Expo ... is a wonderful event that showcases businesses and industries in the Kimberley and provides an opportunity for small business operators to promote their products and services and network with other regional partners.
As the Western Australia Government lead agency that supports and promotes the development of the small business sector throughout the State, the SBDC feels the North West Expo provides enormous benefit to individual businesses and the region as a whole.” Patria Jafferies, Chairman, Small Business Development Corporation |

“Our exhibit was about promoting and informing people on our industry, The Kimberley Pastoral Industry’.
We had an extremely successful two days at the Expo, it seemed that everyone who came to the Expo came through our exhibit as the tent was always full of people, looking, chatting, reading info, talking to producers, patting the calves and generally getting an understanding of our industry and importantly, our passion for our industry.
The exposure for the pastoral industry was tremendous, we informed the community on what’s happening in the bush, past and present and for the future. We gained a lot of support for our producers and our industry as a whole. I think the Expo is a great opportunity for all industries to showcase themselves, it all helps to make a stronger and more aware community." Jack & Vicky Burton, Yeeda Station |

“2010 will be the second year the Shire of Derby/West Kimberley has been an exhibitor and the added interest in our towns, businesses, and tourist attractions was evident form our first involvement. For this reason, we mean to continue participating indefinitely. We do not, as a rule, attract the same amount of interest as more prominent centres in the north and this is an excellent way to promote ourselves at an event which has built a reputation as the largest annual showcase in the region.
In our view, there is no other single entity in the north of our state which can compare with NW Expo and the outstanding service it provides and we hope to be taking advantage of that service for many years to come.” Elsia Archer, President, Shire of Derby/West Kimberley |

“The Expo seems to be getting better each year. We have been exhibiting since 2002 and it is great to see it growing each year with new exhibitors and good visitor numbers. NW Expo provides an ideal venue for our company to network with past clients and meet new potential clients in a friendly open forum.” Sue Pascoe, LJ Hooker, Broome |

| "The NW Expo provided us with considerable exposure to Broome residents and provided a great opportunity to answer questions and give more information on the Browse Development. A real bonus from a Woodside perspective was the Student Day conducted on the Friday as we were able to spend time with a large number of high school students and provide them with an insight into the types of careers available in our industry." “The Broome Chamber of Commerce was one of the initiating partners of the original annual Expo about 20 years ago…[North West Expo] is unique in that it offers the only annual business showcase and networking opportunity of its type in the region. It nurtures new and emerging small businesses, along with delivering opportunities for grass roots community contact and education to larger businesses, industry bodies, government entities and service organisations.
As the region struggles to find balance amongst a range of often competing industry agendas, the Expo stands out as an event which brings many of these industries together, for discourse, for information sharing, for networking and for showcasing what is being achieved in a positive light.” Anthony E Proctor, President, Broome Chamber of Commerce |

“I found that North West Expo 2008 provided my company with a unique opportunity to sell my products to much larger variety of people, I made contact with other regional business which gave me the opportunity to launch our catering business. This year we will be launching our new trailer at the Expo which has helped us expand our range of products.” Steve Beak, Brazilian BBQs |

“We have exhibited at the North West Expo in 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006 & again in 2008. We have found it a valuable way to further expose our business to the general public.
It has not been an exercise in selling products but was more about exposure – letting the public know what products and services we can provide. It is also an excellent occasion to promote any new products.
We have also invited Perth suppliers to visit and support us with the event.
We are based in the Broome LIA and don’t often get the chance to have thousands of people peruse our products over the 3 days. EXPO provides this exposure to the public.
People that saw our products at EXPO were coming in to the showroom for a month or so after the event. We had increased sales especially within the following 4 to 6 weeks. We have even had a couple of sales as late as October that were initiated at the North West EXPO.
Attending EXPO can be a challenging project for us but, it has always been very rewarding. We will certainly be involved in 2009.” Natasha Aristei, Managing Director – Kleenheat Gas House Broome |

“Over eight years [North West Expo] has created a professional, apolitical platform with a vision linked to the strategic outcomes of many regional organisations including the Shire’s objective for Broome’s diverse and growing economy to provide long term employment and economic benefit for current and future generations.
The North West Expo successfully provides the opportunity for business, industry and government to actively engage with the community, customers and stakeholders.” Kenn Donohoe, Chief Executive Officer, Shire of Broome |

“The NW Expo was well organised, well run and proactively communicated. [The coordinators were] extremely helpful and accommodating to our/my various requests. The NNTT was made to feel welcome and the various ancillary events created many networking opportunities which are already yielding positive outcomes. Thank you and congratulations to you and your professional team.” Tom Weaver, Regional Manager, WA, National Native Title Tribunal |
