NW Expo Careers Day – Friday 30 April 2010 If your organisation promotes careers, recruitment or training in the North West then extend your NW Expo registration to include the 3rd annual North West Expo Careers Day. NW Expo 2010 is open to the public on Saturday 1st and Sunday 2nd of May, 2010. Careers Day will be held on Friday 30 April from 9am – 2pm, and open to secondary students only. The day will be very interactive with the students participating in Try A Trade activities. Register your interest in exhibiting at the NW Expo Careers Day so that you can directly target an estimated 200 secondary school students from schools across the West Kimberley, including Broome, Derby, Fitzroy Crossing and several communities, who will visit the NW Expo Careers Day. pr@northwestexpo.com.au View the highlights from the 2009 Careers Day.

The aim of Careers Day is to:• Highlight career options and pathways for young people both in and out of school • Provide a forum for a recruitment drive by industry and business • Provide direction to young people about their job future – what will be available in the future? • Allow exhibitors to build and enhance positive relationships with schools, students and training organisations • Highlight that there are multiple employment and training options available in the North West • Provide an opportunity for teachers and parents to update their knowledge of industries and opportunities for young people • Provide a focused forum for exhibitors to showcase their business and promote career, employment, training and education opportunities |
