COMMITTEE

Australia’s North West Expo is proudly presented by North West Expo Incorporated, a not for profit organisation incorporated in August 2002. The organisation is managed by a volunteer committee.

The committee comprises members from the region who bring a range of complementary skill sets and experience.  Individually they contribute a selection of expertise from marketing and media, financial, tourism and local government who provide both strategic and hands on abilities. The main role of the committee is to set policy and direction of the event, to review the event progress and to ensure financial viability at all times.

Elisabeth Lucke - President
Elisabeth Lucke is one of the founding members of the North West Expo Committee, and the Kimberley Regional Sales Manager for GWN. She is committed to the North West Expo’s future as an annual showcase for the regions, and as a contribution to the Broome community. Elisabeth also sits on the Committees of the Broome Chamber of Commerce and Broome CIRCLE.


Rob Lander - Vice President
Rob Lander is a tourist accommodation operator, Broome Shire Councillor and director of several privately owned companies operating in the resource sectors.  A consultant in strategic communications and planning, Rob operated his own consultancy business for over 30 years, working both in Australia and overseas.


Jo Durbridge - Secretary
A resident of Broome since 2003, Jo Durbridge has more than 20 years experience in promotion and publicity. Having worked in a management and promotional role for exhibitions in Perth including the Ideal Homes Exhibition, Perth Electronics Show and the Live It Up Expo, she is eager to see the North West Expo grow to its full potential.


Chris Mitchell - Treasurer
Chris Mitchell is Executive Officer of Regional Development Australia Kimberley, responsible for administering federal grants. He is a Broome Shire Councillor.

Caroline Bainbridge
Caroline is an active member of several community groups including Broome Lionesses, Broome Surf Lifesaving Club and Kimberley Personnel to which she volunteers her time. She has been in Broome for 9 years and on the NW Expo committee for 2 years.
